Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Happy November!!!

I don’t believe that’s an actual thing, but nonetheless it is November, and soon to be December, and than we will be into 2025.  It seems like there is still so much left to be done in 2024.  We are trusting that God is going to help us to accomplish the things that he wants us to do for this year. Please keep praying for us to to be sensitive to His Spirit as he guides us.

Have you heard?…
The Alliance Canada has updated their donation platform and is now processing online donations in-house to save on administrative fees. If you have been a monthly donor through Canada Helps, please take a moment to make the changeover to our new donation site.

Here are the steps below. 

Step 1. Go to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/SignIn.aspx
Step 2. Log in using your email address and password  
Step 3. Click on the “Monthly Donations” tab
Step 4. Click on the “Manage” button next to the monthly donation you wish to modify
Step 5. Make the necessary changes (cancel) and click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the screen
Step 6. Go to https://thealliancecanada.ca/gift/david-and-joyce-nguyen/ to set up  your new donations

Praise & Prayer

  • Praise God for the team of trainers from Vietnam and the many local leaders who helped make VBS possible. God’s word was shared to almost 200 kids during the various VBS Camps.
  • Praise God for the STM team that came from Richmond Chinese Alliance to learn, serve and pray for our ministries.
  • Praise God that while our house did get a bit flooded with some of the heavy rains, nothing major was damaged that could not be repaired. Thank God as well for a good landlord that was willing to fix the leaks in our roof.
  • Pray for our family’s health. We have been facing more injuries and illnesses this past year than what is normal for our family. The kids especially have had it harder this year. 
  • Pray for Jadon and Elisabeth who have lots of projects and exams over the next few months as they work to complete their IGCSE and IB Diplomas.
  • Pray for wisdom as we work with the present leaders to raise up new leaders in the Vietnamese Churches in Cambodia.
  • Pray for continued improving health for the baby that was born premature. 
  • Pray for God to meet all the needs of the local leaders, spiritually, physically and mentally.
